Our client approached us as they had booked space at the high security show DSEI held every year in ExCel London. As their DSEI exhibition stand builder they wanted a large, bright and open stand as the location of their space was on the end of a row with pathways on three sides. It was a prime location for attracting visitors to the stand so it was important to the client to benefit from this. As the stand builder and designer we designed an open structure with a solid back wall consisting of two pillars at the front of the stand and a header on all three exposed sides.
The logo was prominent and clear on each side of the header ensuring it was seen from all angles and from all corners of the exhibition hall. Lighting was placed on the underside of the header which flooded light into the stand. Graphics were minimal, with pictures mounted on the back wall together with a screen to enable the client to show presentations and information. A lockable store was housed on one side of the stand which was nicely incorporated into the back wall, essential for storing literature and products. Dark blue carpet was laid directly onto the hall floor to emphasise the space of the stand and to provide a clean and comfortable finish. As the clients DSEI exhibition stand builder they requested an area to sit and chat with visitors on the stand so 4 chairs and a table were placed on one side to enable this.
Exhibition Stand focus points
- 3 open sides space only
- Good visibility from all areas of the hall
- Clean white finish
- Lighting and logo header
- Locking store area
Once the stand construction was completed, the client asked if we could help with placing the huge engine onto the DSEI stand as the centre piece. It was exceptionally heavy and could not be moved by hand so a forklift driver was arranged to lift and place the crate onto the stand and then our builder team carefully removed the crate. The engine was lifted from the crate and finally put in place on the stand. The client was very pleased with their finished display and had a successful show and have asked with an island exhibition stand at another event.
